Book measures: 21 x 15 cm. 2 volumes: 104 and 122 pages. Text in Ukrainian. With the stamp'Permitted by authority of Military Government', indicating that it was permitted by the Military Administration. Both covers feature illustrations by the Ukrainian artist Stepan Lutsyk, who was also a resident of the displaced persons camp in Regensburg, Germany. The first volume is in fair condition, exhibiting signs of wear with light damage to the spine and chipping along the edges. The second volume also shows wear, with the title page damaged and the spine restored using paper tape.

Books published in displaced persons (DP) camps after WWII are considered as rare and difficult to come by. Initially, such publications were produced using duplicating machines such as mimeographs, but as time went on, they began to have larger print runs.
