A compilation of cartoons by Ukrainian writer Ivan Kernytskyi, released in a German displaced persons (DP) camp post-WWII, featuring illustrations by Ukrainian artist Edvard Kozak.
Ivan Stepanovych Kernytskyi (1913-1984) is known by various literary pseudonyms and cryptonyms: Iker, Gzims Ivan, and Papai. He was a prolific Ukrainian writer, playwright, columnist, journalist, and humorist. Kernytskyi was actively involved in the Association of Ukrainian Writers "Slovo," serving on its Presidium and spearheading the establishment of an aid fund. He also contributed to various publications under the Tiktor press in Lviv and abroad.
