Vasyl Hryhorovych Krychevsky (1873-1952) was a multifaceted Ukrainian artist and scholar, known for his contributions as a painter, architect, graphic artist, film art consultant, and pedagogue. He also excelled in applied and decorative art. Notably, Krychevsky played a pivotal role in designing the Ukrainian coat of arms, state seals, and banknotes in 1918. He shared his artistic talents with his brother, the renowned Ukrainian painter Fedir Krychevsky.
