Prince Iakov Fedorovich Dolgorukov (1639 - 1720) - the boyar, since 1700 - the commissar-general, then the general-krigcommissar, from 1711 - the general-plenipotentiar-krigs-commissar. Descended from the princely family Dolgorukov. The eldest son of the prince Fedor Fedorovich Dolgorukov. He received a very good education for his time, under the guidance of a mentor from the Poles, and was fluent in Latin.
