The only published volume of this rare Soviet bibliography is dedicated to Russian Lubok songs, which held a special place in society's life and culture. Folk and artistic song lyrics were often utilized by publishers in the creation of mass visual products (lubki). Lubok, a beloved genre of Russian folk graphics, is characterized by its straightforward illustrations and stories derived from literature, religious narratives, and folk tales. These Lubki prints were frequently used as decorative elements in homes and inns.
