A special issue dedicated to Veliky Novgorod, Pskov and the observance of Russian Culture Day in Latvia during the interwar period.

A literary and artistic magazine, primarily intended for the Russian-speaking community in Latvia, saw 43 issues published from 1925 to 1929 under the editorship of entrepreneur and educator Sergei Aleksandrovich Belotsvetov. Mstislav Valerianovich Dobuzhinsky, a Russian graphic and theater artist who was a member of the St. Petersburg art association "World of Art," resided in Lithuania from 1925 to 1939 and played an active role in shaping the artistic identity of the magazine. Notably, Dobuzhinsky was responsible for creating the colorfully stylized cover of the magazine.
