Catalog for an exhibition that took place at Moscow State University, opening on January 29, 1928.

"Bytie" [Eng: Genesis] was an artistic collective of Moscow-based artists active from 1921 to 1930. It was established by VKHUTEMAS alumni G. Sretensky, A. Taldykin, and others who were mentored by P. Konchalovsky. P. Sokolov-Skalya served as the chairman of the group. Throughout its existence, the association hosted eight art exhibitions in Moscow.
