Nikolai Petrovich Sobko (1851-1906) was an art historian and bibliographer. His contributions spanned beyond bibliography, including works like "Ancient images of Russian kings and their embassies abroad in old and new engravings," "Russian and Slavic calendars and month books for 100 years, 1725-1825", and "Vasily Grigorievich Perov: his life and work," along with several illustrated catalogs of art exhibitions, such as the one mentioned here. From 1894 to 1900, he published three volumes of the "Dictionary of Russian Artists from Ancient Times to the Present Day."
