Vospominaniia Poslednego Protopresvitera Russkoi Armii i Flota [Recollections of The Last Head Chaplain of The Russian Army and Navy], vols. I-II (complete)
New York: Chekhov Publishing House, 1954. Original illustrated publisher's wrappers. Item #327
21.5 x 13.9 cm; two volumes: 414, 412 pages. Text in Russian. Wrappers on both volumes a bit soiled. Still a good copy.
A very informative memoir of a famous clergyman. His description of life at Stavka of the Supreme Commander is particularly interesting, especially concerning Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. The book adds clarity to understanding the true causes of the collapse of the Russian Empire.
