Quarto (23 x 28 cm). 50 pages: illustrations. Text in English. Signed on the half title page by the author "Kate Koon Bovey." Light soil and wear to spine; some minor stains to the purple cloth; small tear to half-title. The book has been printed from twelve point Granjon type on Linweave text paper. The headband ornament was re-drawn from the design on the Coronation menu, a reproduction of which appears opposite page 26; the tailpiece and introductory page decoration is a Linotype ornament. Designed and produced by Fred T. Phelps in the month of February, nineteen hundred and forty-two.
A self-published in 1942 the book contains letters from the author who attended the last Russian coronation in 1896.
