This work of the public figure, writer and Esperantist Orest Kuzma is devoted to book printing history and technology. It tells the history of the development of materials and various bookmaking techniques. The author highlights the stages of the creation of the book and its main components. He also describes the processes of proofreading, typing, features of fonts, illustrations, binding work, and characterizes types of printing paper and printing equipment.
