A fairy tale about a magical transformation of the duck into a girl.

Bohdan Lepkyi (1872-1941) - a Ukrainian writer, poet, scholar, public figure, and artist. Lepky is best known for his Polish translation of the ancient Ukrainian chronicle Słowo o wyprawie Igora [The Tale of Igor's Campaign] and another translation of the poem Zhuravli [Cranes, 1910], known to Ukrainians throughout the world as the mournful song.
