A powerful original linocut by the acclaimed Ukrainian graphic artist Bohdan Soroka, whose bold black-and-white compositions rank among the finest achievements of late twentieth-century Ukrainian printmaking. Edition of 50 copies; this example No. 7/50. Signed, titled, dated, and numbered in pencil by the artist. 13.5 × 10 in. (34.3 × 25.4 cm). Near fine. A strong, well-inked impression on heavy wove paper with full margins. The verso shows minor remnants of former matting; otherwise, it is clean and well preserved.

Bohdan Soroka (1940–2015) was one of Ukraine's foremost printmakers, celebrated for his masterful woodcuts and linocuts inspired by history, folklore, religion, and the enduring struggle for human dignity. His works are represented in major museums and institutional collections in Ukraine, Europe, and North America.
