A Ukrainian Displaced Persons (DP) photo album produced in Mittenwald, Germany, and dated in manuscript 29 March 1948. Oblong in format, the album measures 19 × 28 cm. It is bound in handcrafted wooden boards, lacquered in black and decorated with hand-painted Ukrainian geometric ornament in red, gold, green, and white. The spine is covered in woven textile and secured with original red-and-black braided cord ties. The album contains 95 original gelatin silver photographs, ranging in size from 2.5 × 3.5 cm to 10 × 14 cm (formats vary), including studio portraits, informal snapshots, and small contact prints mounted on brown card leaves with original corner mounts. The inside front leaf bears a Ukrainian manuscript dedication dated “Mittenwald, 29.9.1948.”

The photographs document family life in exile, traditional embroidered dress (vyshyvanka), weddings and communal gatherings, domestic interiors adorned with Ukrainian textiles, Alpine landscapes, and scenes of craft and embroidery.

Boards show minor surface wear; decorative elements remain vivid. Overall, in good condition.
