Compiled by historian Nikolai Ross from the archive of General Mikhail Diterikhs, a leading figure in the White movement, these materials represent one of the earliest systematic efforts to investigate the Romanov murders. Spanning from July 1918 to early 1920, the volume includes forensic analyses, testimonies by household staff such as Volkov, Chemodurov, and Letemin, and internal military correspondence. Lavishly illustrated with rare photographs of the Ipatiev House and the Four Brothers mine shafts, it offers a stark visual and textual record of the imperial family’s final days.
