A collection of sketches, novellas, and short stories by Lithuanian writer and emigre Simas Urbonas (1907–1996), who fled Soviet-occupied Lithuania, published in postwar Germany for the Displaced Persons (DP) community. The book is one of the first literary works issued by Lithuanian DPs after WWII. Printed in a run of 2,500 copies at the Schweinfurter Druckerei u. Verlagsanstalt G.m.b.H., it features a striking design and was sold for eight German marks.
