This early collection by Fedir Dudko (1885–1962), a Ukrainian prose writer, dramatist, and journalist, presents his story Krasa zhyttia (“The Beauty of Life”), written in 1916, in one of his earliest standalone publications. Issued as part of the Literaturna biblioteka “Rusalky” series, it reflects Dudko’s thematic preoccupations with the moral and existential struggles of modern man.
