Lys Mykyta, 1982. Item #1531

A satirical and humorous work by Edward Kozak (EKO), one of the most influential Ukrainian émigré caricaturists and illustrators, known for his distinct graphic style and piercing wit. This is the second book dedicated to the fictional rustic character Hryts Zozulia, a sharp-tongued everyman invented by Kozak and first introduced in the magazine Lys Mykyta in 1948. The character gained popularity among the postwar Ukrainian diaspora as a vessel for social critique, folk wisdom, and cultural commentary.
