This émigré reprint presents the second volume of Memoirs (Vospominaniia) by the influential liberal historian and political leader Pavel Nikolaevich Miliukov (1859–1943). A key figure of the Russian Constitutional Democratic Party (Kadet), Miliukov served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Provisional Government in 1917. A student of Vasily Kliuchevsky, he became a prominent historian and journalist. After emigrating in 1918, he remained active in political discourse and Russian émigré intellectual life. This edition reproduces the text of the 1955 Chekhov Publishing House version.
