A real photo postcard mounted on original cardboard. Photograph approx. 8.5 × 13.5 cm; overall mount size 13 × 18 cm. Date: ca. 1920s. Very good overall. The photo shows minor silvering and scattered spotting consistent with age. Corners of the mount intact with one visible photo corner holding the card in place.

A photographic portrait of General Pyotr Nikolayevich Wrangel (1878–1928), a prominent Russian military commander and one of the final leaders of the White Army during the Russian Civil War. He is shown wearing the traditional Cossack-style uniform of the Volunteer Army, complete with cartouche belts (patronash), shoulder boards, and a high-standing collar adorned with the insignia of the Order of St. George, Russia's highest military honor for bravery.

This photo has been carefully mounted on a period cardboard backing, likely for formal presentation or private distribution among supporters in exile. Photographs of Wrangel produced during his exile—especially in postcard format—were commonly circulated among White émigré communities in Yugoslavia, France, and Constantinople, where he maintained influence among anti-Bolshevik military and political networks.
