14 cm. 32 pages. Text in Russian. The cover exhibits noticeable foxing and spotting. The title page bears a handwritten inscription, 'Inv. 1453,' in green ink, along with a stamp from 'Fremdsprach-Institut, Mawrizki.' Still a very good copy.

A short story by Mikhail Zoshchenko, is included in his collection "Sentimental Tales." It portrays a love affair that culminates in a domestic dispute, showcasing Zoshchenko’s signature style of employing crude naturalism to subvert romantic moments.

In the post-WWII period, Russian displaced persons in DP camps across Europe fostered a significant publishing culture. Despite military censorship and limited access to printing materials, they produced rare and diverse publications that reflect the resilience and creativity of displaced communities.
