Boris Godunov
Prague: Khutor, 1945. Item #1195
18 cm. 67 pages. Text in Russian. Uncut copy, softcover in very good condition with minimal wear and a little chip on top of the spine. Slight toning on the cover due to age, otherwise excellent.
This uncut copy is from the Khutor press, a Prague-based émigré publishing house active from 1922 to 1949. The house, led by Aleksei Grigor'evich Vynnychuk, specialized in printing Russian literary classics under the oppressive conditions of the fascist regime. Their work ensured that Russian cultural and literary heritage survived in exile, making these rare editions significant artifacts of Russian émigré history.
