This is a 1946 émigré edition of Pushkin's classic fairy tale The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish, published by the Khutor publishing house in Prague. Khutor operated from 1922 to 1949 under Aleksei Grigorievich Vinnychuk and specialized in Russian classics, often printed in small quantities under the Nazi regime in Czechoslovakia. This edition is part of a rare, low-print run series produced during the harsh post-war years.
