Kadir Misiroglu (born 24 January 1933) is a Turkish author, poet, lawyer, and a former journalist. He is a staunch anti-secularist and known for his opposing opinions against the founder and first President of the Turkish Republic, Kemal Atatürk.

The Hungarian Revolution of 1956, or Hungarian Uprising of 1956 (Hungarian: 1956-os forradalom or 1956-os felkelés), was a nationwide revolt against the Marxist-Leninist government of the Hungarian People's Republic and its Soviet-imposed policies, lasting from 23 October until 10 November 1956.
